Issued: Never issued Manufacturer: Octopus This patch wasn't issued as a patch as such. The club brought out a kids kit for Christmas 1980 which was sold in the Athletic Stores. The kit came with a patch that had to be sewn on by the buyer. Some months after Christmas on one of my regular visits to the Athletic stores looking for badges, I noticed some of these patches sitting in a box and asked if I could buy some. The answer was yes so I bought 8. This one is sewn onto my Ireland scarf.
