Official and Supporters Club Badges
Issued: Early 20th century Manufacturer: H.W Millar This badge has been around forever and older members have told me they were given a badge on joining the club. There have been several issues of this badge with the oldest version having a buttonhole fitting.
Issued: 1979 Manfacturer: Unknown Produced by the Clifton Reds supporters club to celebrate our centenary year, this badge was made in limited numbers (500 I think) and the die was destroyed (allegedly) so no more copies could be made.
Issued 1980 Manufacturer: Coffer Northampton Although not sold by nor I believe officially sanctioned by the club, I have included this badge in the official section due to it being a Coffer badge. Coffer badges are much sought after by collectors and this badge is a firm favourite amongst older supporters. It was sold by the Athletic Stores in Belfast
Issued: 1980 Manufacturer: P&G Made by well known badge makers P&G I'm not sure whether or not this badge was officially sanctioned by Cliftonville FC. There were 8 designs in total (I only have 2) each featuring the same plastic insert. They were sold by SS. Moores in Belfast and I don't recall them being sold at Solitude.

Issued: 1980 Manufacturer: Unknown I'm not 100% sure when this badge was sold by the club but I do remember buying it from the club shop. It is a tiny badge and again, it has been pirated and has turned up on various stalls and websites. The pirated version is easily distinguished from the original has it has a pin too large for the badge.
Issued: 1982 Manufacturer: Unknown First produced by the Premier Reds supporters club in the 1950s, this version was recast in 1982. The original version had a maker's name on the reverse but the 1982 version doesn't.

Issued: 1998 Manufacturer: Unknown This was the 3rd kit badge produced by the club and featured the Kit Kat advertising and Le Coq logo.
Issued: 2002 Manufacturer: Unknown Again, I'm not sure when the club sold this badge and I am guessing at 2002. This badge always puzzled me as it seems to be a printed crest rather than an enamel badge and has an 'unfinished' feel to it. The puzzle was solved when a friend gave me a version with a resin dome covering the crest. I can only assume that the one I bought was among a batch delivered without the resin being applied.
Issued: 2002 Manufacturer: Unknown This badge is identical to the Printed crest badge but has been finished with a resin dome.
Issued: 2004 Manufacturer: Unknown This badge was the winning design in a competition in 2004 to produce an official souvenir to mark our club's 125th anniversary.
Issued: 2006 Manufacturer: Unknown Designed for the FDC team that travelled to the US to take part in and indeed win the USA cup. I'd been tracking this badge for years but was unable to lay my hands on one. I was given this one by 'Red1' on the day we were presented with the Gibson cup in 2013.
